We actually request photography permission as part of our admissions process, and it makes up part of our parent portal requirements on Synergetic. All enrolled families are requested to update these annually, as required.
Staff children are our go to – otherwise we ask Heads for recommendations and approach the parent’s directly for permission for anything out of the ordinary or for third party media use. We ask them to contact us only if they do not want their child to participate and it works out generally to 1 in 100 families do not want their child included, so quite low.
