We are a bit the same as Stephen above.
We collect consent for photography during the onboarding process and again each year. In that, we explain that photographs are taken and used for internal purposes, but that they can opt out of any external publication of said photos (This is collected through Consent2Go, and connected to Synergetic). We are in the process of implementing Pixevety as used by a previous poster, and while we won’t collect consent from parents there (trying to keep consent in a single place) consent will sync across from Synergetic allowing us to manage that.
We occasionally have one or two students whose parents object to any kind of imagery being shared, even in the yearbook, and we handle that by exception – we don’t provide every family the opportunity to opt out of photos for internal use.
