WA Chapter PD – The Brand Morning
A brand audit event for school, university and residential college marketing & communications professionals
Maintaining a consistent brand across an educational institution can be challenging. With multiple teams, stakeholders and touch points, there are often many people involved in shaping how an institution looks, sounds and communicates.
And while every institution is different, the challenge is often the same: how do you maintain consistency without losing creativity or distinctiveness?
Designed and facilitated by Of Note Design, The Brand Morning is a practical session designed to help you step back from the day-to-day, take a considered look at your own brand and identify where there are opportunities to strengthen it.
What the morning looks like
Part One — The Learning & Live Audit
We’ll work through six areas of brand: visual consistency, voice and tone, first impressions, brand infrastructure, audience alignment and competitive landscape.
As we go, you’ll audit your own institution in real time, identifying what’s working, where there are gaps and where there may be opportunities to elevate your brand.
Part Two — The Action Plan & Toolkit
After a short break, we’ll bring your findings together into a prioritised action plan, before working through five practical tools designed to help you strengthen your brand and make consistency easier to manage.
You’ll leave with:
• A completed brand audit specific to your institution
• A prioritised action plan with clear next steps
• Five practical tools you can start using with your team
This morning is for you if
You’re responsible for marketing, communications or brand within a school, university or residential college – whether that’s formally part of your role or simply something you’ve found yourself taking ownership of.
If you want to better understand where your brand is today, identify opportunities to strengthen it and leave with practical ways to move things forward, this morning is for you.
