Located on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, St Aloysius’ College offers young men an education that nurtures and supports their gifts and talents, while forming them spiritually as faith-filled men for others, consistent with the Jesuit tradition.
While honouring its traditions, St Aloysius’ is looking to the future, as they move towards their 150th anniversary in 2029. St Aloysius’ seeks a new Director of Advancement who will be pivotal to shaping the College’s future, building the partnerships and philanthropic support that will strengthen its capacity to flourish and deliver an exceptional Jesuit education for generations to come.
Reporting to the Principal and a member of the College Executive, the Director of Advancement will lead the College’s integrated Advancement function, bringing together Fundraising, Alumni and Community Engagement in support of the College’s mission. As the College’s chief Fundraiser, the Director will personally lead the College’s major and principal gift relationships and build the strategy, team and systems required to deliver significant Fundraising campaigns and a sustained increase in philanthropic support for bursaries and the ongoing development and renewal of the College.
The successful candidate will bring a breadth of leadership experience ideally across all facets of the Advancement portfolio with a track record of success securing major and principal gifts. The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, encouraging collaboration and high performance will be critical, together with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition.
