At UTS, we’re a young, globally recognised university known for doing things differently. Based in the centre of Sydney, we work closely with industry, government, and the community to focus on outcomes that matter. Our strength lies in how we bring creativity, technology and innovation together to make a practical difference. When you join UTS, you become part of a community that values inclusion, supports access to education, and works towards positive change in society.

UTS is strengthening our advancement program as part of an exciting period of renewal and growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a unit purpose-built for impact and designed to mobilise alumni and philanthropic communities in support of UTS’s strategic priorities.

We are now seeking a Fundraising Manager, Future Giving who, reporting to the Director, Fundraising & Donor Stewardship, will play a strategic leadership role in the development and delivery of UTS’s Gifts in Wills program, inspiring long-term philanthropic support through strategic engagement, storytelling, and stewardship. The role is responsible for creating a comprehensive program of engagement to identify and grow relationships with donors considering or committing to leaving a legacy, including managing donor journeys from intention to impact, and embedding legacy giving as a valued, visible and impactful part of the university’s philanthropic culture and income.

The successful candidate will bring a track record of success in securing bequests and/or major gifts with the ability to lead complex negotiations to ensure bequests align with donor intent and institutional goals. You will be able to build trust, interpret vision and purpose, focus on clients, achieve results, exhibit learning agility, communicate with impact, be solution focused and goal-oriented.
