As part of an exciting organisational restructure and investment in strengthening our People and Advancement function, Mount Lilydale Mercy College is seeking a professional and highly organised HR and Compliance Assistant to join our team.

This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working across HR, compliance and governance in a dynamic school environment.

About the Role:
The HR and Compliance Assistant provides specialised administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, compliance and risk management.
Responsibilities include:
– Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
– Preparing employment documentation and interview materials
– Coordinating mandatory compliance training registers
– Supporting policy review and audit processes
– Maintaining HR databases and systems
– Assisting with OHS and emergency management administration

About You:
You will bring:
– Experience in HR administration and compliance
– Strong organisational and communication skills
– High attention to detail and confidentiality
– Experience with HRIS and compliance systems
– A collaborative and proactive approach
– The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
