Dr. Aaron Conley
Dr. Aaron Conley is Founding Partner at Academic Advancement Partners in Dallas, a philanthropic consultancy working exclusively in the education sector. Prior to AAP, Dr. Conley led the teaching and coaching practice for Grenzebach Glier and Associates, a global consultancy based in Chicago and London. Before consulting, he served in senior leadership roles including Vice Chancellor for Advancement at the University of Colorado and Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations at the University of Texas at Dallas. Earlier in his career, he led unit-level fundraising and alumni engagement programs at Purdue University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Florida State University. Dr. Conley has also served since 2014 as a faculty member of The Fund Raising School in the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Dr. Aaron Conley collaborated with Genevieve G. Shaker, Ph.D as co-authors of the book, Fundraising Principles for Faculty and Academic Leaders (Palgrave Macmillan 2021), which received the 2023 Association of Fundraising Professionals/Skystone Partners Prize for Research on Fundraising and Philanthropy.
