Hi

Although our intake years are a little different (Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6) we have bulk numbers for intakes. Currently each head and deputy head of each subschool conduct the interviews one on one. (We have Early Learning, Junior School, Middle School and Senior School. Prior to the interview there is the process of determining learning needs through the enrolment process which is discussed separately with our Head of Learning Diversity and Inclusion. The Head does a formal chat in his office for the parents and the child, and then conducts a personal tour of the sub school and significant buildings, eg chapel, performing arts. All of the interviews are conducted during class time and parents are able to view students at work. Siblings are also interviewed in the same way. The strike rate and conversion from interview to enrolment using this process is high. A lot of our families are now asking detailed curriculum questions, special needs and cultural questions and they can be answered by the Head during the tour.
