We are in the same boat – school only 37 years old – low past student attendance rates. So… now we just have one mega alumni reunion event each year – combined 1-year, 5-year, 10-year, 20-year and 30-year students all together in one venue – not all past students though as could get unmanageable. Past students don’t mind being grouped together for one bigger happier group and encourages cross-‘generational’ school conversations and less event organising involved, plus bulk venue food and drink discounts.
