The Educate Plus WA Chapter is thrilled to invite you to our 2025 Summit taking place on Thursday 22 & Friday 23 May at The University Club of Western Australia for the Make Tomorrow Chapter Summit, a two-day professional development opportunity that will bring together Advancement Practitioners from across Western Australia, in Tertiary Institutions, Residential Colleges and Schools, all dedicated to shaping the future together.

Grant Dusting

Every educational institution aims to build a thriving community—where staff feel empowered, students grow, and families are engaged.

McCrindle surveyed educators, students, and parents to uncover what defines a thriving learning environment. This keynote shares insights from our latest national study on how to foster strong, connected, future-ready educational communities.


Grant Dusting is a social researcher and Director of Strategy at McCrindle. With a background in public policy and NFP leadership, he advises organisations on responding to emerging trends. Grant works nationally with schools and peak bodies and leads McCrindle’s Perth office.

Bursaries Available to Attend the WA Summit!

We are thrilled to announce that to ensure equity of access to the WA Chapter Summit, the Summit Committee is offering 10 needs-based bursaries for the event. A bursary amount of $225 is available, thereby reducing the cost of full registration.

The Wonil Hotel is across from the venue for delegates to potentially stay in and has reasonable accommodation rates.

Alternative, most accommodation options within the Perth CBD are convenient, as there are many public transport options to get to the venue (or Uber/Taxi of course).
