Kokoda Youth Foundation

For over 20 years, the Kokoda Youth Foundation has empowered countless young Australians by delivering fully-funded programs grounded in the values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship, and Sacrifice. These experiential outdoor programs are designed to foster greater resilience, leadership skills, community service and peer connection. They are proven to transform participants through the Spirit of Kokoda and are funded by everyday Australians who fundraise to participate in the Kokoda Challenge endurance event series. Held annually across four locations, these gritty hikes attract over 9,000 participants, including over 850 school teams, who take on distances of up to 96km as they honour the 1942 Kokoda Diggers and develop the Kokoda Values.
