Tintern Grammar is one of Melbourne’s oldest schools and will proudly celebrate our 150th anniversary in 2027 — a milestone that reflects a rich history of educational excellence and community connection.

With more than 1,100 students from Early Learning through to Year 12, Tintern educates girls and boys within our distinctive Parallel Learning model — a thoughtfully designed blend of single-gender and co-educational learning. This approach allows us to tailor the educational experience at each stage of development, supporting wellbeing, academic achievement, and personal growth.

At the heart of a Tintern education is a deep commitment to the care of every student, a culture that encourages each individual to pursue their personal and academic best, and a dedication to exceptional teaching.

We are equally committed to fostering a workplace that values collaboration, professional growth and opportunity for all staff, recognising that an engaged and supported team is essential to delivering the outstanding education our community expects.
