We are looking for an outstanding Admissions Assistant to provide high quality administrative support to our Admissions team. The position supports the complete admissions process, from initial enquiry through to enrolment, and plays a key role in maintaining accurate student records and data, coordinating communications and supporting admissions events. Ensuring a professional, efficient, and welcoming experience for prospective families, the Admissions Assistant has a thorough understanding of and alignment to the history, mission and values of the School. The role requires exceptional organisational and data entry skills, strong attention to detail and a deep commitment to child safety, confidentiality, integrity and excellent customer service.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, marked by integrity, diplomacy and compassion
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of people, including new and current families, colleagues and other key stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of the history, values and mission of Scotch College, and thorough, up-to-date knowledge of all school academic, co-curricular and pastoral programs (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines and pressures
  • A curious mind with the ability to learn new tasks and skills
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, marked by professionalism and excellent relationship management
  • Ability to follow process and procedure with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience in a Student Management System and/or CRM (desirable)
  • Experience in school Admissions environment (desirable)
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence, confidentiality, trust and integrity
  • Relevant qualifications and/or training in child safety and wellbeing
  • Current Employee Working with Children check or VIT
