Rewarding opportunity for a passionate Philanthropy Manager to implement and manage the School’s long-term fundraising programs, donor stewardship, and strategic philanthropic initiatives.
The Philanthropy Manager is responsible for cultivating strong positive relationships whilst:
- Championing and embedding a strong culture of philanthropy, building meaningful connections, and inspiring donor and community engagement.
- Executing capital campaigns, annual giving, bequests, and scholarship programs.
This role is suited to a relationship focussed professional who is skilled at maintaining relationships with senior leaders, affluent supporters, and stakeholders at all levels. Essential qualifications, skills and experiences include:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Experience in a similar role with a strong record of securing significant philanthropic contributions.
- Strong expertise and a deep understanding of the philanthropic space evidenced by successful donor engagement and meaningful outcomes.
- Highly effective influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and highly organised.
Although not essential, an understanding of the independent education sector is desirable.
