Just wondering if anyone has any experience fundraising using online raffles rather than sending home the paper/printed raffle books. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Hi Sue,
This could be done fairly easily with an online form that has a payment field attached for buying tickets. That would let you process payments online and capture the contact details you’d need for the draw.
You’d need to be able to export the submissions as a CSV (or similar format) for printing off and doing the draw.
You may also need to be able to limit the number of tickets sold.
There are more sophisticated ways of managing the draw, with it being done electronically, so it depends on what you prefer really.
Cheers,
Have you checked out Rafflelink? This is one Loreto Normanhurst is doing at present for their Spring Fair. You can purchase the tickets leading up to the event. https://www.rafflelink.com.au/lnhspring17
They are also using Trybooking for the car that is being raffled. That’s a bit more clunky but okay (and cheaper) for a one item raffle such as a car. https://www.trybooking.com/book/event?embed&eid=315857
