Foundation / Charitable Trusts

Happy New Year! (Gosh, that’s sooo last month!!)

I’d like to talk with people regarding Charitable Trust / Foundation set up – mostly NZ people as I guess our Charities Commission guidelines may be different from elsewhere in the world.

For those who use this platform, I have some initial basic questions:
* Is your Principal/Headmaster (or his/her position) a trustee member (or ex-officio, or Principal nominee, or none of these, or something else??)
* Does your school manage the day to day financial processes? i.e. receipting etc
* Do you have more than one trust/foundation?
* If so, then why?
