The Old Scholars + Community Relations Officer is a member of the Development Office with responsibility for actively contributing to an environment where parents, families, old scholars and friends of the school feel welcome and engaged in the life of Blackfriars.
Key responsibilities of the Old Scholars + Community Relations Officer include:
- Coordination and day-to-day support for the activities of the Blackfriars Parents & Friends Association and Old Scholars Association
- Stewardship of the school’s relationships with Blackfriars Old Scholars Association affiliate clubs, and the school’s local and supplier community.
The Old Scholars + Community Relations Officer has oversight of the school’s community database and assists the fundraising initiatives of the school primarily through managing the community’s use of school facilities.
