Established in 1935, Fahan is known for academic excellence, strong values, and a deeply connected community where every student is known and supported to flourish.
Following the development of its Capital Master Plan, Fahan School is entering an exciting phase of growth and renewal. To help realise this vision, the School is seeking a strategic and relationship-focused Director of Advancement to lead its philanthropic and community engagement program in support of this next chapter.
Reporting directly to the Principal and working closely with the School Board and leadership team, the Director of Advancement will shape and deliver strategies to strengthen community connections and secure philanthropic investment in the School’s future.

The successful candidate will bring:
• Demonstrated experience in advancement or institutional philanthropy (preferably within education)
• The ability to inspire confidence and nurture long-term relationships
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach to achieving fundraising and engagement goals.
This is a part-time (3 or 4 days per week) permanent position and will involve some after hours and weekend commitments in line with events and engagement across the School Community. KPIs will be agreed with the successful candidate prior to commencement.
Applications from members of the Fahan Community are warmly encouraged. It is anticipated the successful candidate would have a comprehensive understanding of the Tasmanian community.
