The Role

This dynamic and engaging role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within the College community, fostering lifelong connections and enhancing community engagement.

As the Community Relations Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing and maintaining strong connections within the All Saints’ College community. Your duties include providing high-level support to the Old Saints’ Committee, assisting with meeting preparation, maintaining accurate records, and managing vibrant social media accounts. You’ll be the driving force behind the annual Dovetails alumni magazine and regular e-newsletters, ensuring former students stay informed and engaged. Additionally, you’ll organize Heritage Week activities and coordinate Old Saints’ participation in various College events, fostering a sense of community and involvement.
Your responsibilities also extend to The Studio School alumni, ensuring alumni contact records are up-to-date, managing reunion programs and promoting engaging content on social media. Your role involves facilitating alumni participation in fundraising, mentorships and other opportunities.

In support of the College’s Parents & Friends’ Association, you will act as a key liaison, supporting their requests, coordinating event logistics and ensuring effective communication through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the annual reunion program of events, including venue selection and liaison, invitations and promotion to ensure successful attendance and engagement.
• Manage the Old Saints and The Studio School alumni social media accounts and ensure a calendar of relevant and engaging content.
• Source and write articles for the annual Dovetails alumni magazine, in partnership with the Marketing and Communications Manager.
• Identify alumni for ongoing opportunities, such as fundraising, mentorships, keynote speeches, publicity and advocacy.
• Maintain the alumni websites with accurate and up-to-date content.
• Support the Parents and Friends’ Association in operationalising their requests to support the College community.

About You

You are a dynamic and highly motivated individual with a strong background in marketing, communications or business. The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience and demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skills. With a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, you will be adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering meaningful relationships that drive successful outcomes.

In addition, you will bring valuable experience in event or project management, and have a knack for building networks that support community engagement. Experience in a school or educational environment, alumni management or being an Old Saint is highly desirable. Proficiency with design and social media management tools including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Meta tools will set you apart as a candidate.
