ALUMNI RELATIONS COORDINATOR
St Mary’s has a thriving, connected and engaged Alumni community – also affectionately known as ‘Old Girls’. We are seeking an Alumni Relations Coordinator who is passionate about building and maintaining these positive relations and coordinating all aspects of its alumni program to ensure a strong connection with the School.
St Mary’s is incredibly fortunate to have an engaged and connected Alumni (Old Girl) community. We are currently seeking a friendly and outgoing professional for the role of Alumni Relations Coordinator to help foster and maintain our thriving database of over 11,000 Old Girls.
The Alumni Relations Coordinator works closely with the Director of Philanthropy to build and maintain these positive relations with past students and coordinate all aspects of its alumni program. This includes sourcing and sharing Old Girl news and updates, sourcing mentoring and guest speaking opportunities, coordinating events and reunions, and other activities to engage and support our Old Girls.
– Minimum three years’ experience in a community relations, marketing, fundraising, or events-related role
– Experience planning and coordinative events
– Experience compiling and editing newsletters and promotional material
– Experience using social media to effectively engage a community
– Maturity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
– People-person who is passionate about building personal relationships
– Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
– Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required
