ROLE, PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Alumnae & Supporter Relations Manager is responsible for managing the College’s alumnae relations, bequest and donor stewardship programs, designing and implementing effective and innovative strategies to successfully engage the extensive alumnae network. This includes providing strategic and operational support for the activities of the St Vincent’s College Ex-Students’ Union to create a strategic, holistic and integrated program.
Serving as an ambassador for the College, the Alumnae & Supporter Relations Manager will be responsible to the Principal via the Director of Advancement in managing the College’s relationship with its key stakeholders and donor prospects, using innovative methods to advance St Vincent’s College’s goals for creating a strongly engaged and supportive community.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
• A commitment to the College’s Mission, Vision and Values
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence, engage and collaborate
• Organisational and event management skills
• High ethical standards, discretion and confidentiality
• Experience with Word and Excel along with database systems such as Edumate
• Flexibility to travel and work evenings/weekends as required
The appointment of a successful candidate is conditional and based on the successful completion of all pre-employment screening, including child-related employment and reference checks. Consistent with St Vincent’s College COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, all staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or have an approved medical contraindication which prevents them from receiving any dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) to work at St Vincent’s College.
