QLD Chapter – Ann Badger Bequests Masterclass
Do you want to secure the future of your institution through remarkable gifts?
Bequests are the most cost effective form of fundraising and can yield amazing transformational gifts, but many of us defer planning for, resourcing and implementing programs for this area of fundraising—or just prepare a brochure and hope for the best…
This extended hands-on workshop for fundraising staff and volunteers from schools, colleges, universities and other institutions will look at giving data, bequest societies, prospects, cultivation and engagement, asking and stewardship, to provide a road map for delegates so they are equipped to develop and implement a bequest program.
Ann Badger is a senior advisor and consultant with Marts & Lundy. She specialises in strategic planning, major gifts, campaigns and bequests. Ann has worked with leading schools, colleges and universities around Australia to build effective giving programs and a culture of philanthropy.
Previously, Ann was the Director of College Advancement at Ormond College, University of Melbourne for eight years. Prior to Ormond College, Ann was Director of Community Relations at Melbourne Grammar School for more than ten years. She launched two bequest societies and conducted several successful capital and comprehensive campaigns.
