So what do parents want? We will unpack the recent ISQ parent survey of what parents want with regards to choosing a school for their children and what is needed to keep them there. We will discuss the findings to see how these results can sharpen our marketing plans.
An introduction to planning for and responding to a critical incident (including death due to mental health issues).
A critical incident can have a significant and traumatic impact on a school community, including the death of an alumni. This session provides a practical guide to help navigate and manage such a traumatic event as well as aiming to support and assist schools in responding appropriately to a death due to mental health issues. Schools that would like to develop an individualised suicide post-vention plan with headspace in Schools (QLD Be You) team, will be able to do so at a follow-up workshop (to be scheduled).
