NSW/ACT Fundraising SIG

Major Gifts account for 90% to 95% of funds raised in any Capital Campaign. So what is the best way to go about securing Major Gifts?

The journey to securing a new Major Gift can be different each time and is dependent on a range of factors. This SIG offers the opportunity to hear from experienced fundraisers in University, School and College settings discuss real life Major Gifts they have secured, the process they followed and the techniques they used. Presenting Major Gift case studies will be:

  • Daniel Martin, Director of Development of Medicine & Science at UNSW
  • Jackie Dalton, Director of Philanthropy at Frensham Schools
  • Hannah Atwell, Director of Advancement, St Andrew’s College at the University of Sydney

A Q&A will follow the case study presentations before opening up to further Major Gift discussion and networking.
