As the first Steiner School in Australia, Glenaeon has a fine heritage of pioneering work in innovative education dating back to our origins in 1957. We now educate up to 500 students from Preschool to Year 12 across three campuses at Castlecrag, Middle Cove and Willoughby on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
We are currently seeking a permanent part-time Compliance Officer to provide advice and guidance to ensure the schools’ policies and procedures are compliant with legislation and regulations to support the safety, health and wellbeing of all members of the school community. The Compliance Officer manages the day-to-day operations of policy and procedure development with primary responsibility for the overall implementation and maintenance of CompliSpace/Ideagen, Glenaeon’s Compliance, Policy Management, Staff Learning, Excursion Management and Assurance Management platform. This includes the development and delivery of system support processes, projects, tools and training and responsibility for promoting and improving the risk and compliance culture.
The successful candidate will have WHS qualifications and/or at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. You will need excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, project management expertise, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Prior experience in an education setting, while not essential, would be an advantage, as would experience with the CompliSpace/ Ideagen system.
This role is classified as Clerical and Administration Services Employee Level 4/5 in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025. The successful candidate must also provide a Working With Children Clearance prior to commencing. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
